I still often quilt with fun reading glasses - and Mia was awfully relaxed that day...
Using machine applique to attach the vine border to the feathers - there's only 16 pieced seams in the entire quilt top - look at Mia, so comfortable and confident I can get this done!
A sliding glass door is my large light box - at night I turn the lights on inside and work from outside

For larger machine applique pieces, I sometimes have to 'package' the same way I might package a quilt when quilting on my domestic machine
