The orange and green feathered wreath was used in Feathered Wreath - I have to turn some of my other wreaths into finished quilts - the limey green with blue and red on the grey background is my favorite!!!
Early clamshells from the same ombre fabric used to create the green and red feathered wreath
Central medallion created, stitched, and ready to be inserted into the middle border
The middle border created, stitched, and ready for the central medallion
The main body of the quilt - assembled mostly with turned-edge machine applique
Planning the scallop border...
I'd like everyone to think the quilting design was my own, but I just followed the printing on the fabric - which was fabulous
The boring semi-solid backing fabric was selected to highlight the quilting
Detail of the turned-edge machine applique and stationary long-arm machine quilting - I think the border quilting turned out to be my favorite part of Feathered Wreath
