TA Quilting

The Next Time promise was for some quilting in the green organic swirls - and then the green swirls turned out so well, it was a little scary to continue quilting for fear that I might ruin it…

I didn’t let that fear stop me.

Toronto Architecture quilting at sunset

Toronto Architecture Quilting

Quilting always looks better at sunset! Straight line fillers (sometimes piano keys) and pebbles seem to be a regular fixture for me. This time I tried to make them both a little irregular and I left a puffy ‘no man’s land’ between the pebbles and piano keys to add some interest.

The big debate now is: do I quilt on the grey weave or leave it unquilted with all its dimension? The smaller debate is why Americans and British spell gray differently, and whether it really matters or not. =)

The border needs more quilting - I’m pushing myself to try something new.

Bowling

The long winter season leagues are ending soon and a couple of casual tournaments are coming up. I’ll let you know how they go.

Next Time

More progress on Toronto Architecture’s quilting… hopefully it’ll be done! You are welcome to be disappointed with me if I haven’t tried something new.

And check my events - summer classes are listed and my first out-of-town teaching gig might show up.

Quilt your way!
