Christmas Stars for a New Day

Started in 2009, we finished the top last fall and started its quilting - check out the November and December 2021 blog posts to see some history.

This is a modified Sue Garman pattern: Stars for a New Day.

Looking at these, you’d think it could be finished at this point, but no… I kidnapped many of my Mom’s Christmas threads and I’m trying to use some of each one in this quilt - I’m not done playing with the thread yet.

Here’s some close up pictures of the quilting I’ve added this year.

Never Lonely

Of course, these two are still helping me with my quilting. =)

Bowling

The Annual Tucson City Senior Open is this weekend - and then I’m off for four weeks! No more tournaments until 2023. I love bowling and my friends, I’m just ready for a break.

Next Time

Christmas Stars for a New Day should be finished! At least the quilting - maybe I can get it bound too…

Quilt your way!
