Catching Up - Tile Quilt
February through August in a nut shell…
Tile Quilt
Personal quilting time from February 2023 through May 2023 was spent on the Tile Quilt. We went from ground zero to the photo below with no personal quilting distractions in between. That amazed me because I normally mix it up a bit more frequently change projects based on what’s exciting me. No clue when we’ll get back to it, but writing this post is motivating me…. =)
Stella
We got a wonderful new dog in May - Stella. We haven’t had a 2 year old in a while and she’s a joyful handful. We’re now at 3 dogs and 1.5 cats. (The half cat is a community cat that we do breakfast for.)
Other Small Projects
Small, playful, try-something-new projects have been on the schedule the last couple months. Not sure what I’m doing with any of these yet, but they have been a lot of fun.
Bowling
19 tournaments in February through August - annual city and state tournaments, our big national tournament, a regional PBA event, several state semi-pro events, and some local fun stuff. I cashed in 7 of the tournaments including State Masters and the regional PBA event. Most of the tournaments pay 1 in 6 or 1 in 4 or 1 in 3 so I’m still doing better than average. =)
Winter leagues have started and I’ve got some big Fall tournaments coming up. I’m excited to bowl well and have more fun!
Next Time
During this catch-up period, I also revamped my beginning machine applique class. Most of the new class is pleasing me and I also did some dumb stuff… I’ll share some of the journey.
Quilt your way!
