The Learning Quilt
Hollywood glitz and glamour was what one judge called The Learning Quilt, but it’s always been my drag queen quilt. The central medallion was based on a friend’s pewter necklace.

Can you spot the humility dot? And I actually removed the scallop quilting in the tear drops and replaced it with pebbles - even thought I didn't like it, I almost left it in for interest

Here's what I ended up quilting in the silver tongues - And I really like the sort of mod explosion quilting in the pink squares
Sometimes I like the backs of quilts way too much - especially when the pink silk bleeds through and is retained much less on one fabric... it looks almost intentional, yes?
I've said it before, if you have to piece the back, maybe do something interesting with it
